WHO: Kamikaze Records’ recording artist, One Voice

WHAT: Performance for FSU’s Barrio Fiesta to celebrate Asian Awareness Month.

The teenage pop stars will perform for the FSU Barrio Fiesta, Saturday, March 24th at 8:30pm. The Barrio Fiesta is being held to celebrate Asian Awareness Month. One Voice, featured on the soundtrack of the MTV produced movie, "Jailbait," was invited to perform at this event because of the group’s major label debut success with MCA Records.

"One Voice was selected by our committee for this particular occasion because the group is one of the first Filipino pop acts to be successful on a major scale," admits Maritess Jingco, committee talent coordinator.

One Voice’s debut single, "When You Think About Me," was a Billboard Hot 100 single. The group has been featured in numerous teen magazines including, Teen Celebrity and Teen. The group has garnished rave reviews from industry trade magazines such as Radio and Records and Billboard Magazine. One Voice is currently finishing the next album which will feature songs from producer James Early whose production credits include En Vogue, Marky Mark and MC Hammer.
